inspired reading

February 15, 2011

As usual, there have been lots of inspirational things to read around here. I’m enjoying: (still enjoying!) the last issue of Parabola magazine with its focus on beauty; the current issue of The Sun magazineIron John by Robert Bly—a must for anyone who has a son (or is a man or knows a man), Gaia’s Garden, a permaculture gardening guide and The Creative Family by Amanda Soule, a beautiful book with lots of family craft and art ideas and really is so much more than that! I could really sit all day and just read, but of coure there are a lot of other things to get done too. I have to admit, I have read all of these before!

Scott is reading Mirror of the Dream by T.H Watkins and R.R. Olmsted; Mud Blood and Gold (both San Francisco history books) and Be Love Now by Ram Das (his latest offering).

Lukas is enjoying The Tomten by Astrid Lindgren; Curious George Flies a Kite by H.A. and Margaret Rey and A Farm by Carl Larsen.
