paint the box green...

We were looking for something fun to do so we made beanbags and then played with them. First, we took scraps from those blouses I just made (one of which is being worn, of course!) sewed them on three sides, filled with beans, and hand-sewed the last side. (If you try this at home, you can joke that the kid is full of beans too while doing this part) Then, I cut a cardboard box at an angle on one side, and cut two holes in it. Then Lukas started painting until it was all green… and until he was all green… Then after lunch, when the paint was dry, we played beanbag toss. Just toss the bags into the holes from various distances depending on skill level. Or toss them in the air, or put them on your head. Sorry no photos of that part, it was too involving. My Mom even tossed a few bean bags when she came over, I sure wish I had a photo of that! She was pretty good at landing them in the box!
