There are so many apples and I am making them into more applesauce this week. If I was really on top of it, we’d have a lot more applesauce than this, but at least I’m using some of them! It’s pretty easy but takes time. Just peel and core and cut up the apples and then toss them into the crockpot with a little water. That is it. You don’t have to do anything else except stir them once in a while and when they look like applesauce, you are done. You could can it or freeze it. When canning, make sure you use a jar that is the size you will use in a couple days. Most people use a pint or quart jar, depending on family size. If I get around to canning this sauce, I’m using jam jars to make “snack size” servings. Lukas loves to eat out of a container so if it’s small enough, I can let him!
