simple food

Since we are on a special diet for Lukas and his food intolerances, we eat really simple food. I’ve found I prefer it. We can enjoy carrots straight from green string farm and our home grown chard with a little lemon or a basil olive oil sauce (made from the garden basil and green string oil) Some chicken and a bit of quinoa leftover from breakfast and we have dinner. Lukas eats everything. I think he prefers simple food too. Much of our dining experience comes from sitting down together every night to eat. We usually light a candle and say a little blessing like “blessings on our food, OM” then eat and talk until we are done. Green String is abundant right now with delicious food, including fruit, it’s a good time to check out their beautiful offerings!
