We celebrated winter solstice simply: we spent time with friends and family; we spent time outside by the river. I really felt the shortness of the day today, the sun set before 5pm, which I know is late in some more northern areas, but for us of course, it’s the earliest it ever sets. It was a beautiful day, and not too cold. Scott even found a great portrait spot in the yard and we took a bunch of photos of the family. There were some crazy outtakes…
