handkerchief madness

one handkerchief

Well, allergy season is here, so I made some handkerchiefs. They are double sided flannel and nice and soft. A little bit of coziness in the midst of the discomfort of allergies or colds.

I made two but every time I sew I’ll make a few more so there will be a good supply eventually! Just launder in hot water when needed. The inspiration came from the Rhythm of the Family book. Hope all our locals are enjoying the beautiful rain!

They’re really nice, and they even look like they feel really soft, too!

Ria, they are very soft, just what you want in a handkerchief!

I made a bunch of these also, from the good parts of some old sheets and some quilting cotton. I love them! They are handy and fun to look at….not your average handkerchief. Yours are very colourful and lovely too! Well done!

thanks Erica, that is a great idea to use sheets! These were remnant pieces of flannel from the bib project. It’s great to have nice handkerchiefs instead of a piece of paper!
